Great British food done well. Not complex menu that works. Well run, immensely busy at peak times but somehow everyone gets a seat. Expect to queue, order your food, pay then find a space. You may have to share with others. But somehow it all works. As a Brit I really appreciated proper bacon and butchers sausages, not general catering sausages. Black pudding, bubble and squeak, beans on offer too but I personally just wanted grilled tomato. Had tea and toast too. Would happily return. About a tenner a head (£10). Well worth it.
This establishment offers a swift and authentic traditional British breakfast experience. While the cuisine was enjoyable, it lacked adequate seasoning, including salt. Nevertheless, the ambiance alone provides a unique experience. Founded in 1946, the venue's popularity was evident from the remarkable number of patrons, with queues extending outside the premises. We highly recommend a visit, and as we alwys say evethy is bettet share. We rate this establishment 3.5 out of 5.
Had a great time here for breakfast! The full English breakfast was delicious and exactly what I was looking for. I went for the set breakfast deal with beans, toast, and tea with milk—it was all served super quickly, literally in less than five minutes.
The interior has such a nice, authentic vibe that you don't find everywhere anymore. Prices are very fair for what you get, too.
Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you're in London and want a proper, no-fuss breakfast. I’ll definitely be back!
I’ve traveled to London several times for the last 7 years and each time make sure to eat here. It’s the most delicious, no-nonsense English breakfast. Even over time, the prices remain reasonable. It gets quite packed inside, but the staff are efficient at keeping tables cleared and sending out food so you won’t have to wait too long. I look forward to a meal here anytime I’m in London.
Traditional local British breakfast. Definitely worthy to come to try authentic food in London. Very good prices, much lower than everywhere else and you can adjust to your needs. Super nice people. Cozy interior, great atmosphere. All food you should try in UK as hash browns, black pudding, bread and butter pudding, pie, pasty, fish and chips (only on Fridays), fries, sausage, beans, grilled tomato, toasts, tea (very very strong), coffe, even burgers.
